A service of the Atlantic County Department of Family and Community Development, the Welfare Fraud Hotline of Atlantic County is a toll-free hotline to report cases of suspected welfare fraud in Atlantic County. Welfare fraud includes abuse of Medicaid, Food Stamps (FS) and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) benefits. This can include housing subsidies and heating and cooling programs. A confidential service, the caller does not have to give his or her name. The Welfare Fraud Hotline operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
