MidAlantic Post-Secondary Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Camden Community College was established in 1988 and funded through a state grant from New Jersey Department of Higher Education under the Higher Education Services for Special Needs Students. Services include: post-secondary (college) level assistance with experienced staff members and educators of the Deaf, summer orientation and developmental skills programs, placement testing and independent living arrangements, required courses "College Success" and "Life Management Training". The primary accommodations offered are sign language interpreters, notetakers and C-Print Captioning.
