The VFW is a fraternal, patriotic, historical and recreational organization for veterans. Among its goals and ideals are:to preserve and strengthen comradship among members; to assist widows and orphans; to maintain allegiance to the government, and fidelity to its constitution and laws; to foster patriotism; to maintain and extend the institutions of American freedom, and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsoever. This post meets on the first Thursday of the month at 8:00 p.m. The building is accessible, but not the bathrooms.
