The Vineland VA Outpatient Clinic is a comprehensive facility which provides mental health and basic oupatient medical services. The clinic is a service of the Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805; (302) 994-2511. Eligibility: generally any veteran with an honorable or general under honorable conditions discharge may apply; there are some restrictions related to income level; veterans discharged after 9-7-80 require two years continuous service; family members may be eligible when a veteran is receiving services from the clinc. We also provide information and counseling about veterans benefits. Other services include: counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, groups and families, personal health concerns, Gulf War Syndrome, consultation and training about PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder), combat stress disorder, drug and alcohol dependence and addiction, psychiatric problems, grief and loss issues, stress management, and various other conditions including vocational, smoking cessation and weight control. Medical services include basic health screening, medication, lab, physical exams, and general internal medicine.
