Atlantic County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is a nonprofit organization empowered to investigate (and prosecute if necessary) cases of animal cruelty and neglect. A nonprofit organization working to curb animal cruelty and abuse in Atlantic County. Available 24 hours a day for cruelty emergencies and have an agent on the road 6 days a week.The ACSPCA is committed to: investigating reports of cruelty and/or neglect and prosecuting the abusers to the fullest extent of the law, promoting spay/neuter programs, encouraging adoption of abandoned, neglected or abused animals, providing shelter and medical care for animals in need, educating the public regarding respect for animal life and responsible pet ownership, lobbying and educating government officials for clearer definitions of laws, and enforcing existing laws pertaining to animal abusers.
