Typical YAP services focus on intensive advocacy, case management, mentoring, family support, life skills training, anger management/coping skills training, and supported work programs with youth and teen fathers. YAP can tailor these services for those at risk of out of home placement, detention, incarceration, truancy, gang involvement, and criminal activity. As an approved NJ Behavioral Health provider under the State Medicaid program, YAP also serves an additional 100 youth and their families at any given time and employs bachelor, master and licensed level therapeutic staff. More recently, YAP has begun introducing its model for serving those on the Autism Spectrum through various training programs.
