The Youth Services Commission of Atlantic County plans and implement community-based services and sanctions. The commission advocates to reduce juvenile delinquency and improve the juvenile justice system. The Youth Services Commission is designated to administer the State/Community Partnership Grant Program. It (the commission) develops a comprehensive plan for services and sanctions for juveniles adjudicated delinquent. It also develops programs for the prevention of juvenile delinquency. Membership includes a representative from among the judges assigned to the Family Part of Superior Court, the county executive or designee, the county prosecutor; and other local representatives from local social service, police, mental health and youth providers.
