The Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) - City of Atlantic City helps residents of Atlantic City's Westside neighborhoods rehabilitate their houses. Funding for this program comes from the NJ Department of Community Affairs. The program provides a source of funding to property owners so they can make needed repairs which they may not be able to finance on their own. Assistance is in the form of grants that are only paid back if the owner sells the property within five years of receiving the grant. Additionally, this program provides grants to property owners who are above the low and moderate-income thresholds. The program is limited to properties in the Westside neighborhood. There are three grants offered according to property owner incomes. For more information, and to request an application, contact the NPP at (609) 347-5777.
