New Eyes for the Needy provides new eyeglasses to needy Americans and recycles used eyeglasses for distribution overseas. Eligible participants must have their own vision examination and demonstrate a financial need for glasses. Services include: collecting used eyeglasses, sunglasses, jewelry, watches, hearing aids or gold fillings from teeth to fund eyeglass programs and sending eyeglasses overseas via medical missionaries and health care organizations.
