Atlantic Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. In addition to watching birds we are involved in providing nature-oriented programs and field trips for the general public, environmental action activities including road cleanup, providing input to local, county, and state agencies having to do with environmental planning, oversight, etc. Meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m., at Atlantic County Library System/Galloway Township. The Atlantic Audubon Society has a program of environmental activism done at home. This organization is a refuge support group and works with the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
